Surprise The Struggling Inc. Executive Director
Chaplain, Dr. Jacquelyn Wilson is the Founder and Executive Director of #SurpriseTheStruggling™ Inc., a global hashtag movement/Npo reaching across the globe. Dr. Wilson assists women and teen girls through the transitions of homelessness. Surprising women with purses filled with toiletries and other necessary hygienic items.
In conjunction with The Doctor Wilson Leadership Academy, #SurpriseTheStruggling™ also provides monthly Tea Huddles for women in transition, offering them a place to regroup and gain resources on what they need to move forward in their lives. The Tea Huddles are taking place in various cities across the United States.
The DWLA also facilitates a (Clarity Coaching) workshop for less fortunate beginner entrepreneurs “In the community” twice a month at the SI mall, in the Emblem health space!
Dr. Wilson is also a proud member of The NCNWSI–National Council of Negro Women Staten Island and an active Mentor. Dr. Wilson also Hosts a (Grief Circle) for women & men (The Doctors Are In) and is a Board Member of NYS #1 Anti Gun Violence Organization Street Corner Resources.
As the Founder, also, of Queen’s Don’t Trip We Adjust Our Crowns And Aim, Dr. Wilson promotes monthly educational trips to the Gun Range educating women on how to become licensed legally!
